At the end of their tether...
When we met with our clients they had been looking for 2 years and they were understandably frustrated. We wanted to reinvigorate their excitement for their new home and prove to them that it wouldn’t take another 2 years! They told us how they had seen many good options but had only ever both fallen in love with one house. They had lost out on it to another bidder. We set about with a mission to find a new dream house (but to keep in touch with the agent of the original one…. just in case)

Some people say that being a buying agent isn’t actually about property it’s about relationships and in this case that is exactly right!
When we first met up, we went through a spreadsheet of every property they had seen already and we learnt a lot! I got in touch with the agent of the “dream house” and then kept in constant contact, in case it became available again. We then discussed other options that might be of interest and I went to preview a lot of houses. We viewed a handful of properties together with our clients but none of them got them as excited as the one that they felt “got away”.
THEN when calling the agents I got the message I will never forget……the dream house deal was wobbling…… could we prove to the vendor that our client was a solid buyer? Could we demonstrate we had done our due diligence, that we were good for the money and that we would commit to the purchase. Selling agents want a sure thing and we offer that credibility for our clients.
And YES – they trusted us and believed the compelling case we made for our clients to commit to all of the above!! The deal was ON!!
