The Brief
Time is of the Essence!
We met our clients in February and they were under time pressure to buy a house by June. They needed access to Wellesley Prep School and Salisbury for work and were keen to find a family house with reach of both.
How We Helped
Keep Calm and Carry On (with the right due diligence).
Having reviewed the houses that had been seen, we started to search for suitable options. Having identified the house, it was all about buying it at a sensible price and going in with our eyes open as to what needed to be done. For example, the private drainage did not comply, albeit we had received a report saying it did. While against the clock we needed to know (as far as we could) the warts and all.
Our Clients Say
"Time really was not on our side so we called in the Cavalry. We viewed five houses in total with George. He advised us carefully and calmly in the limited time frame that we had. It helped that he had such a broad spectrum of knowledge on the area. We loved the house in Hatherden immediately. George warned us that it needed work and after a tricky navigation through the sale process we completed on the house five months later. Mission accomplished! Being a military family and having moved nine times in our marriage it was vital that we got it right so George's guidance through the process was an incredibly valuable addition to finding our forever home."
George Says
"Like many houses in my patch I knew it from selling it in the past. I knew that with some TLC it could be a perfect family home for our clients. The right due diligence was going to be important. It was lovely to return a few weeks after completion to see how well they had settled in and I look forward to seeing it again."
